It mightn’t be news for regular visitors to our website that libraries play a huge role in communities, but as Anna Bradley-Smith of the Nelson Mail found out, both the Nightingale and Elma Turner libraries proved that a little creativity can go a very, very long way.
The libraries used a double-decker bus, big-screen story time about dinosaurs, plus sessions crafting Anzac poppies at their recently held at their recently held library fun day. The day was a hit with the 60 children and their parents who filled the double-decker bus to tour both Libraries.
